Dear Clients and Friends,
The staff of RiverWoods Pet
Hospital is acutely aware of the current economic and
mortgage crisis in our country. It has been widely
publicized that many pets are also becoming victims of
foreclosure and economic restraints. Beloved pets are being
turned over to shelters in increasing numbers. Some pets
are even being abandoned as families are forced to leave
their homes.
As part of our commitment to
the voiceless animal members of our families and community,
RiverWoods Pet Hospital in conjunction with our non-profit
Pet Assisted Services, would like to help these animals in
any way we deem possible. If you, or someone you know, is
facing the difficult task of re-homing a beloved pet due to
economic hardship or foreclosure, PLEASE talk to a member of
our staff. We have a wonderful and committed clientele and
many are willing to provide foster care or other assistance
as an alternative to shelter release. Our caring staff can
provide support and advice in these difficult circumstances.

temporary housing to a pet in need,
please let us know
and we will add your name to our foster home list.
